Jennifer Chaney

Jennifer qualified as a Midwife in 2015 after graduating from University College Dublin with a degree in Midwifery. She is a dedicated midwife and healthcare professional with experience in one of Ireland’s leading maternity hospitals. Her background includes working in delivery wards, postnatal and antenatal care, and running antenatal clinics, providing expert support to women throughout pregnancy and early parenthood. In 2024, she further expanded her expertise by qualifying as a lactation consultant, offering specialist breastfeeding support.

 

In her new role as a practice nurse and manager at Heron Medical, she will be involved in the care of all our patients, supporting women’s health, maternal and infant care, as well as broader general practice services. Her focus is on delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals and families at every stage of life. Whether it’s guiding expectant parents, supporting breastfeeding, providing women’s health advice, or assisting in general practice care, her goal is to ensure that every patient feels supported and informed.
